Champion or the Omega 8006

Question

I have breast cancer. The next thing on my to do list is buy a juicer. I want a mastacizing….I’ve gotten my choices down to the Champion or the Omega 8006. For those who have either of these juicers, please tell me what you do or do not like about them, thank you 🙂

  1. I like the magic bullet. It wastes nothing.

  2. Haven't noticed. Afraid to comment. Don't want to be banned. Love this group.

  3. I just noticed people mentioning "peeling," I hope you aren't pealing things like apple, carrot, etc. Don't lose some of the nutrients by throwing away part of the food. We have use of a Jack LaLanne's Power Juicer, love it! My favorite is large wedges of cabbage, unpeeled carrots (washed) and a wedge of beet (I peel because I haven't had the chance to see if it's ok not to). It's delicious and super healthy. Also I add in a green unpeeled apple for taste. Nummm…Now I am hungry! 🙂 It's best to juice and drink it right away, the nutrients die fairly quickly once extracted into the juice form. A bit of a hassle, but oh so good for you.

  4. I have a Breville. I heard the mastacizing ones take FOREVER to juice. Are you sure you want that? Just to make about 4 22-oz Ball jars with my Breville centrifuge one (washing, peeling, and putting stuff thru juicer) takes me about an hour. Most days I'm not feeling well enough to stand that long.

  5. I use both a juicer and a blender although I'm more preferable to having 100% fruit or veggie smoothies

  6. I have a champion, I do not find it easy to clean, but I've never owned a different one, so maybe it is easy to clean since I've never cleaned a different one. Our juicer is very durable, we got it used from craigslist a long time ago, and the motor keeps going. I find the bottom piece hard to fit when trying to attach the screen. I usually let my husbands larger hands put that together for me. I think it's loud. I guess I don't like it much, but it sure has lasted a long time!lol

  7. I have a Champion and also have a juice press. I love the champion and think its amazingly easy to clean.

  8. I have a Green Star… I forgot why I chose it instead of the Champion but yeah.

  9. I use the Nutribullet RX and recommend it

  10. I want to explain why with cancer, it is imperative that you juice instead of blend. A juicer is a nutrient extractor. You want all of the non-nutritive fiber removed so that when you drink it, your body absorbs it immediately. Plus you can juice mass quantities without all of the bulk, which is impossible with blending. People with any disease, including cancer should be juicing at least 32 oz a day, and that's the minimum. You could never come close to getting the nutrients you need to heal from blending, it's impossible, all the fiber would make you explode! So blending is good for overall health, but juicing is a must for healing the body… My 2 cents worth. 🙂

  11. Jmara Elizabeth actually I have done extensive research. I have a friend who studied everything about juicing & she learned from a man who studied directly with the Gersons. Have a great day

  12. Please heed, DRINK ROSEMARY AND PINE NEEDLE TEA. not yelling I just need you to see this.

Also start using TURMERIC GOLDEN PASTE. Research both.

    God be with you

  13. KRISTA BRADY CARBOURNE… —- Lol this group is about supporting each other.. RESEARCH IT ALL.. Cause YOU obviously don't know SHIT!!!!

  14. Reishi mushroom….

  15. I have the omega 8006, and I do love it. I am thinking of getting a very similar one that is sold by William Sonoma, I forgot the name, it is just like the Omega, except it will cut your veggies first, so you just put in the whole fruit, apples, carrots etc. I find that I spend a lot of time cutting everything up first before juicing,

  16. Omega is what I have and like it and fast and easy to clean. I take the pulp and either put it in my salads or toss with some brown rice with a little liquid aminos. Delicious and eat the whole veggie too. No waste. 🙂

  17. I plan to buy the Omega next time. Please let us know what you settle on and how you like it.

  18. We love our Omega, actually have two– one for home and one for my husband when he travels.

  19. Omega is what we
    Have

  20. I use the Veto v3000 masticating juicer. It does wheatgrass, kale, spinach etc really well. As well as other hard fruit and veg like carrots, apples. It is a UK company so I'm not sure which other countries it is available in. It was a lot less costly than the other brands and does the job well. I paid 110 GBP. Maybe do a internet search for it.

  21. Thank you Alyssia Sadé, I'll check tomorrow

  22. No Jmara Elizabeth. The nutribullet is not what I need. I need a juicer that removes the pulp & fiber as fiber actually slows down the juices & nutrients ability to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream. Sorry but you need to understand more about juicing.

  23. Sent you a Pm Krista Brady Carbone

  24. I just received my Mercola masticating juicer tonight. It leaves too much pulp in the juice, yuck! I so wish I had bought the Omega!

  25. Nah go the Magic Bullet. That way you're not only juicing, you're pulverising the whole fruitveggie getting ALL of it's nutrients

  26. I also have the omega 8006 and love it!

  27. Diana Miller can you please send to me as well. I'd I be to talk with you!!! kristadawne @hotmail.com

  28. Sorry for the typos it is late

  29. Marcia you are on the right track. Coral calcium is alkalinizing so its anti cancer and is a great calcium . DoTerra brand essential oils has one that is great and pure quality not like sone with sand. That was one of the supplements I took of multiple. I also used frankinsence at the end and my healing went through the roof. It sounds line you are Christian in which case declare Gids promises at all times. If you would like to write I will send youmy protocols from my naturopath that tool in stage 4 the doctored sent home without being able to help. [email protected]

  30. I healed breast cancer naturally 8 yrs ago juicing 11 oz 3x day, whole food supplements,NO sugar, only one carb allowed which one slice ezekial bread/ day, grassfed meat and organic veggies. All I needed was a Jack La Laine juicer from Cosco

  31. Yes Marcia Nicolle Rossiter I'm a Christian as well. Please add me, I'd love to

  32. I stopped eating meat, and dairy, processed foods and sugar. I try to eat mostly raw vegetables and fruits. I juice 5 pounds of organic carrots a day and recently added other green juices. I take 12 drops of young living frankincense oil on a capsule everyday. I also take 10,000 IU of vitamin D, and recently 4,000 MG vitamin C, tumeric curcumin complex capsules, and New Chapter Bone strength calcium pills, because my doctor tells me I need calcium and vitamin D to build my bones because he gives me Lupron and Xchevia shots every month to stop the estrogen. My cancer spread to my bones and is "incurable" according to him. So he is trying to slow the spread. I figured I would let him do that while I worked at healing. He is mad because I refuse to take the Tamoxifen. I have a group on FB if you want to follow me. It's Marcia's Journey to be Cancer Free. You can join if you like but just a little heads up I am a Christian and my posts reflect that. Only kind comments only and no adds.

  33. I also have the omega, and I absolutely love it! Not only do I love the fact that you get a lot of juice and it's easy cleanup, but you have all these other attachments to do fo different things too!

  34. Then the Omega is a good choice. Not sure where you live but i recently bought the omega at bed bath and beyond here in california. Normally it costs 300 plus tax but that store usually sends me coupons so i used a 20% coupon and got 60 bucks off.

  35. Yasmin Tilesova yes friends of ours have the Angel & highly recommend. .the problem is the price. With one income & all my other natural supplements, and cannabis, all we can afford right now is $350 tops

  36. Marcia Nicolle Rossiter wow that's amazing!! What can. I ask did you do for your protocol?

  37. Omega is good but if you can get the angel juicer. I saw a video on you tube comparing the two and the only difference is that you get more juice with the angel juicer. In the long run, you save more money on produce.

  38. I also have breast cancer, stage 4. My last appointment I learned all of my blood work numbers are in the normal range. Going for a scan this month to see what is going on. Praying for good news.

  39. I have an Omega. I like it, it does get a lot of juice. It is fairly easy to clean, especially if you do it right after using it. I had a piece break and they replaced it for free.

  40. Thanks I am specifically looking for just an answer to my above question.
