Gallbladder problems or pancreas or lives issues?

I recently had my gallbladder removed because of gallstones, and I learned that the reason I was developing gallstones was because of my hypothyroidism. Just wandering out of curiosity, how many of you have suffered with gallbladder problems or even pancreas or lives issues? Thanks

  1. I had my gallbladder removed years ago, then hypothyroid, then Hashi.

  2. I had mine removed. I had multiple stones.

  3. I have not seen a scientific study that they are related, but many people have their gallbladders removed. I had mine removed from sludge, inflammation and it almost ruptured, it was from an h=pylori infection.
I get elevated liver enzymes when I have hyper flares and I have had pancreatitis after my gallbladder was removed, I do not dring alcohol or eat fried food so they don’t know why.

  4. I had gallstones and my gallbladder was removed in 2000. My Hashimoto’s wasn’t diagnosed until 2013 xx

  5. Many people have hashimoto for many years before even realizing that they had it. Mine was undiagnosed for over 10 years

  6. Post the link to this article, I want to see what the study is and what the credentials are.

  7. Had mine removed back in 2009

  8. Tara Noles Mcdonald, I didn’t go look at the stats, but it is interesting to see that they are studying it and the correlation, I actually have hashi’s and Graves so I swing a lot, I was/ am subclinical hypothyroid 90% of the time.\nI was hyper 90% of the time prior to gallbladder removal though.\nGot treated for H-pylori and then got deathly ill with gallbladder that no one could diagnose, for almost a year.\nI made them do an exploratory to find it.

  9. I had my gallbladder out due to sludge and stones right after my first child was born.

  10. I have several gallstones and next month have to have my gallbladder removed I’m only young 😩

  11. I had mine out due to stones right after I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and now hashis. I have a question, how many of y’all can still eat eggs and not get sick

  12. Gallbladder removed 2 different times I’ve had a stent in my pancreas and 2 stents in my liver at once.

  13. Gallbladder out in 2002. Not diagnosed till 2014.

  14. I had mine out 12 years ago. And was diagnosed with hashimotos December last year.

  15. It is very common to have issues when you have thyroid problems.

  16. I’m told my gallbladder & pancreas are “Pretty” lol!

  17. No gall bladder, liver or pancreas problems. Hashi’s since 1971.

  18. Gallbladder removed in January of this year. I had three large stones, and about 30 crystals. It was inflamed, but no liver damage. Done as emergency surgery.

  19. Porcelain GB, removed. Extremely rare, can morph into GB cancer=7% recovery rate.

  20. Ive had hypo for yrs mine was taken two yrs ago my twin also hypo had her taken 5 yrs ago two other sisters not hypo had theirs removed and my mother had hers taken out ten yrs ago

  21. Tara Noles Mcdonald Pancreas issues are apparently pretty common with Hashis. Something about low T4/T3 causes it to under perform, so it doesn’t produce enough digestive enzymes. Needless to say it compounds the leaky gut issues for many of us.

  22. I was just recently diagnosed with gallstones as well

  23. I just had mine removed two weeks ago and had problems with complications. I did not know they could be related.
