I get a smooth rash on my face when i overheat. Sorry you are having issues too
Yep. Delayed Pressure Urticaria and Angioedema.
My lips and eyes would swell. I could barely walk most days because it felt like I had golf balls in my heels.
Pain in my arms and hives along with it. It is more manageable since my TSH has stabled, but I also missed a lot of work. I currently take Prednisone as needed and limit it to only use when my face is swollen.
I had this once for 2 weeks, I feel for you, it was awful. Luckily it never came back.
Yes, chronic urticaria and angioedema for 10 yrs. The last time I had hives was the day before I had my thyroid removed.
I got hives on my lips. Daily!!! Told my pcp who referred me to the allergist who tested me for allergies to everything then told me I wasn’t allergic to anything and she thought it was autoimmune (I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s a year later) but to take a antihistamine every night before bed and if I needed to one in the morning. So I take one every night and no more hives. Except for when I forget to take the Zyrtec (generic is cetirizine HCI 10 mg) before bed.

I had the hives for three weeks and like Kristen was sent to the allergist and was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Hashimotos shortly after,
