  1. And the cofactors are b6, boron and bicarbonate right? How much of these? How do I take bicarbonate? Sorry for all the questions, I feel so confused!

Boron, B6 and Bicarbonate are the 3 cofactors to help maggie get where it needs to be.
Raw honey is a fantastic way nature provides the complex b vitamins plus Raw honey contains up to 80 different substances important to human nutrition. Besides glucose and fructose, honey contains: All of the B-complex, A, C, D, E, and K, minerals and trace elements: magnesium, sulfur, phosphorus, iron, calcium, chlorine, potassium, iodine, sodium, copper, and manganese. The live enzyme content of honey is one of the highest of all foods. Honey also contains hormones, and antimicrobial and antibacterial factors.

    Adrenal “Cocktail”
(Take 1-2 times/day – an hour before or after food!)
Outlined below is a mineral mixture that one of our colleague’s, Susan Blackard, NP, ND, PhD, has developed for her clients at the Rejuvenation Health Center (Springfield, MO) to take to nourish their adrenals when in need of a lift.
What is important is that this mixture should be taken at least once or twice/day, and please be sure that it is taken away from food to have the optimal benefit.
4 Oz. of Orange Juice – fresh squeezed is best, but not essential (the Vitamin-C Complex makes sure that the minerals noted below get to the Liver to then nourish the Adrenals)
1/4 tsp of Cream of Tartar (this is an excellent source of Potassium or you can use Potassium Bicarbonate)
1/4 tsp of fresh ground Himalayan Salt or Sea Salt (this is an excellent source of Sodium & 90+ other minerals)
What we recommend is that our clients prepare a Thermos at the start of the day with enough liquid for two (2) applications (i.e. at least 8 Oz. of fresh-squeezed Orange Juice) and drink it mid-morning (~10am), as well as mid-afternoon (~3pm). In addition, any time that you are feeling particularly anxious it would be advisable to prepare another mixture and take it.

Cofactors that go with magnesium. Boron, B6 and Bicarbonate are the 3 cofactors to help maggie get where it needs to be.
Jigsaw brand Mg malate and Mg glycinate is a good one to start with.

  2. Thankyou! That was very helpful! I am going to look for some raw honey today 🙂

  3. Just saw your other two posts meshelle, thanks so so much for your help!

50mg of B6 in the full B complex, 3mg of Boron and 3 to 10 prunes can provide enough Boron.
B12 and Magnesium that help with this sort of thing. The B12 should be sublingual and there are more than one type.

    You are welcome!

  4. Consider a TMA mineral analysis, removing stressful people and events from your life, and getting more sleep.

  5. I mix up the ac in morn. Take my first half at 715am. My second half at noon. Any later than noon n i do not sleep that nite. N sure can tell when it wears off abiut 5 or 6

Rick Malter, PhD is well qualified and very experienced, He trains HTMA consultants.
Morley Robbins is also higly qualified especially with his recent investigations into Zinc and Copper, given Copper's role in disorders of this type.
    Copper, potassium, magnesium imbskances….
HTMA is a safe and non-invasive pathology test. It measures the levels and comparative ratios of nutrient and toxic minerals found in hair.
    HTMA Hair Test
By far, virgin scalp hair is best…
Dyed, but NOT bleached (bleach or H2O2), is next… (Ideally, wait o 4-6 weeks following your last dye session)
    Fingernails, next…
Hair, south of the Border, is next..
    Your pets hair…
And then your best friend's scalp hair would be last…
Please check with your hairdresser to see what chemicals are used.

  6. I have AF, and the best thing I ever did was to get an HTMA done to find out my mineral levels. Mag is great (I can't sleep without it), but there are other minerals that can cause/effect your AF. For instance, had I not done an HTMA I wouldn't have known about my hideously low potassium, which I now realise has long been a problem for me.

As for mag types, chelated mag, glycinate, taurate have all been great for me. Malate is good too (it's supposed to help with energy). These types are all nice to the stomach too.

Co-factors are important. As is balancing supplementing mag with your other electrolytes. Which is where the AF cocktail helps.

Recommendations for the AF cocktail are to take it 10am and 2pm. But this is just a guideline. I know people who take it at night, as it helps with their sleep. As with mag types, you have to find what works for you. It can take a bit of trial and error.

  7. How much honey does one need to take daily for the proper amount Meshelle?

  8. Is there any risk in taking Cream of Tartar (potassium). I do not have renal problems but dont wish any either. I have PMR..Polymyalgia adrenal shutdown. It is a muscle destroyer. My blood tests are always normal.

  9. My body wasn't keen on CoT, so I take coconut water instead.

Candy Allen. It all depends on the person. I started with one teaspoon and worked up to a tablespoon but for me I think I need at least 2 tablespoons a day. I take one in the morning and later in the day or before bed. I always take an extra when I feel I need the energy boast.

  10. Adrenals also need potassium……
