Question

Alright y’all I woke up a few days ago with a wind pipe full of stomach acid…

It was one of the most disgusting things I’ve tasted and burned for hours…

I looked online and came up with acid reflux – and some other longer name which is shortened to GERD…

Any ideas on this? On how to lessen the chance for this to happen?

  3. Keep your upper body elevated when you sleep. Keep water by your bed, and drink some immediately if it happens again. When that happened to me, breathing became very difficult (like asthma), but drinking water made it better. And then work on raising your your stomach acid before you eat. I drink lemon juice with water, and that helps. I also take d-limonene.

  5. Apple cider vinegar – tablespoon in 8oz of water with every meal. Use a straw to protect your teeth enamel. It will work and apple cider vinegar works on so many other things. Many just for the price of one. Make sure you get the Braggs brand. The other stuff is crap.

  15. Aloe vera juice has really helped my husband's reflux. He used it to get himself off of omneprozal along with apple cider vinegar and papaya enzyme. 🙂

  17. Taking magnesium has helped mine no end and now the only time i get it now is if ive eaten something highly sugary … ice-cream usually … occasionally something spicy. Oh or alcohol which i rarely do … i think its mostly sugar that sets mine off so maybe question what it was you ate the night you had it/have it and cut that out? Its horrible! Hope you find a cure.

  33. Lots of things can help get your gut healed. The enzymes will help immediately with any acid. Kefir, full fat multi probiotic yogurt, cultured buttermilk, fermented foods like pickles and sour kraut in the cooler isle, kombucha, kefir. Any and all and any combination of these foods that you like and enjoy will heal the gut. If you have had this for some time I would suggest your doctor test you for H-pylori because this bacteria is the cause of most ulcerative issues in the gut and intestines. Any antibiotic use kills the good bacteria and this bad bacteria can move on in. Many people on long term use of station drugs have this and they are becoming sicker…..I'd this is ruled out you can heal your gut and use enzymes as an antacid which does not cause any side effects.   35. No. Earlier I said enzymes. Amazon sells large bottles fairly cheap I believe they are papaya based and most pharmacies have them in smaller amounts these days. I just buy the big bottle and we always have them for friends and family and we can take them with us easily. Certain foods can cause me discomfort and one of these, which taste great by the way, does the job!!!
