If you have really low blood pressure

Question

If you have really low blood pressure, sometimes 79/49, but normally 90/60, is it safe to take magnesium?? My doc gave me two kinds to try but I keep reading how much it lowers bp and I’m scared to take it.

  1. So maybe that's why I didn't feel well on it.

  2. Are you consuming enough salt?

  3. I historically have very low blood pressure, 80 over 60 or so. I've been on the protocol a few weeks and just had mine checked at the doctor's office. It was 102 / 77, much better than usual. I'm guessing it's from the added salt in the adrenal cocktails, but I'm not sure. You might start with the cocktails and other cofactors for a while and then ease into the magnesium. You could even check your bp after being on the adrenal cocktails and other cofactors for a little while. My guess is that the full protocol (including mag) will help normalize our bp in the long run.

  4. I have low Bp historically. Mag has not made it lower

  5. Just up the salt and potassium to balance Mag and go slow. I am the same with persistent low blood pressure. My blood pressure has gone up slightly since being on the Mag protocol. But if I would have gone too fast at first my blood pressure would have gone down. At first I could not do Epsom salt baths bc it was too much at once and I'd feel my bp drop so I started with foot baths and did have to up the adrenal cocktail (vitamin C, cream of tartar potassium powder, sea salt)

  6. I would work on salt before I tried any mag.
You likely need a lot more salt than you realize. Salt on food is rarely enough

  7. My blood pressure is in the 90/60 range or lower and I have had no troubles. I take glycinate at night and the Jigsaw SRT most days. No troubles

  8. Make sure to use Celtic Salt not the processed table salt that is only sodium

  9. My blood pressure has increased a little since starting the protocol.. I feel sooooo much better. I always ran low 90s/60ish

  10. Mine used to be low like that all the time. But the Adrenal cocktail has brought it up to normal

  11. I had very low blood pressure but it actually went up when I started taking magnesium!
