I’m getting gluten somewhere

Question

I’m getting gluten somewhere. I do well and then I get sick again I’m so tired of feeling so tired and lethargic. I swear food is like poison to me. I’ve been diagnosed since March and I know it takes time but I’m tired of all these new things showing up. Does anybody else feel this way? I don’t understand how I’m going along and all the sudden I start throwing up, I lose 140 lb in 2 months and Wham I have celiac. I have a ton more symptoms than that I’m a classic case according to the books but now I’m allergic to milk and I’m wondering what else. I just need support today sorry….?? just one of those days I guess.

  1. I went organic also and has helped some

  2. I have felt worse since going gluten free.. I have been free of gluten since April 2017.. I also have dairy, egg, nut, soy, lots of other things make me sick .. I did have allergy testing done .. I have NO answers , I just asked this same question last week… But I believe Im on the right road, I have other medical issues we are now doing tests for.. I eat 95% organic and clean no boxed foods and I stopped gong out for now. I just wanted you to know your not alone. I have heard that sometimes when you go GF other medical issues pop up… You are not alone ..:)

  3. Sometimes there’s a trigger usually stress related that can cause the celiac to emerge out of nowhere. Also, if you went GF your body is in the process of detoxifying. It took me several months to feel better. It was like a rollercoaster of symptoms. Also, you should have a full bloodwork panel done (if not yet done) check for any deficiencies. And check hormones and thyroid levels! Try to stay with simple ingredients and avoid any processed foods during this healing time.

  4. Keep a food diary. You can find the other things that are causing you trouble. It could be something like a store putting gluten free next to gluten in the storeroom. Keep track of everything. You can narrow it down. I had to. It took a few months. But now I know what is safe, where it is handled carefully and I feel pretty good most of the time

  5. When we first went GF with my daughter she got sicker before she got better. Your body has to get use to it and start to heal! Stay strong keep pushing it’s gonna get better!

  6. Hi Kerry, I had the same issue for months… low energy and brain fog. Switched make-up (again), cleaned out my kitchen (again), and double checked everything..but never found the source. Therefore over the past three weeks, I stated taking 30,000 probiotics per day, cut out dairy completely and started walking 3 miles every other day to increase my energy. I also started following the Whole30 diet a week ago. I feel much better this week but not sure which “adjustment” has been the most beneficial.

  7. My daughter has been gluten free for 4 years now and her labs look good but she still had problems. Her gastroenterologist has her eating a low FODMAPS diet to look for other food that bother her as she continues to heal. Her biopsy showed there is still damage in the small intestine. She is also sensitive to dairy. Keep persevering! Give your body time to heal. It took a long time to become damaged and that won’t be overcome quickly.

  8. Yes I’m hearing you. I’ve been good then go and eat gluten free wrap, palpitations then fatigue and ibs for 2 days. Only over when it’s all out the other end

  9. That’s AWFUL! I’m so sorry! Have you decontaminated your kitchen?

  10. sorry your going through this. I’m no not good with words. *hugs*

  11. I totally understand

  12. Sorry girl, so hard for you.

  13. I AM SO PARTICULAR WHAT I EAT. I WAS DIAGNOSED IN FEB OF THIS YEAR. ONE DAY I FEEL WELL AND THE NEXT I HAVE BOUTS OF GOING BACK AND FORTH TO THE BATHROOM. I GET DIZZY AND HAVE BRAIN FOG A LOT. DONT KNOW WHAT IN THE WORLD I AM DOING. WISH I KNEW OF SOMETHING TO DO. I FEEL ABSOLUTELY HELPLESS.

  14. I feel helpless and scared a lot . I’m sorry praying for you 💝

  15. Check through the ingredient list of the foods that you are eating and the medications that you were taking even over-the-counter supplement, I have found that some of those big names that you can’t pronounce or wheat based preservatives and binding agents

  16. Have an immunologist to as an allergy and asthma doctor run allergy tests on your back to see what else you may be allergic to. If you have a PPO you can get yourself in an appointment without referral

  17. Took me a long time, at least a couple of years as I was so deficient in minerals and vitamins. Took a while to work out what I needed. Much better now but still have some bad days at times. Prayers for you, hope you feel better soon.
