The itchy rash and liquid filled blisters

I am new to CD and have been very good about eating gluten free does anyone have a experience with the itchy rash and liquid filled blisters that turn to scabs? And how long it takes to stop? It seems I have more new blisters everyday even after eating gluten free.

  1. You probably have dermatitis herpitaformis or DH, for short. You need to go to a dermatologist who is familiar with DH/Celiac. The treatment is dapsone pills, and topical steroid creams. I used to take diprolene. DH is an inflammatory response from your body to gluten, meaning your case like mine is more severe, so it’s very important to follow not only a gf diet but eliminate corn, msg, and try to incorporate the Paleo diet with your gf diet. Eat organic, fresh food, avoid all junk food an# it will clear up. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, just ask. I’m here to help. I’ve had DH/Celiac disease my whole life – I’m 46, and believe me avoiding the diet, and not taking this seriously can have drastic changes to your health as you age, and there not for the better.

  2. Argon oil really helps me 🙂 Of course, that’s after a round of steroids to clear it all up.

  3. Corn. No more, thanks.

  4. Make sure your soaps/lotions are gluten free and labeled so…I had the same issue
