  1. New Beginnings sell Taurine for children with Autism. I would say it must have something to do with the dose of the product you are looking at.

  2. I'm thinking the dose

  3. I believe that is stated on most supplements, it's there for liability reasons. No body has tested supplements on children, that market isn't big enough to justify the expense of testing.

  4. Years ago, my son wasn't doing well in school. My naturopath noticed he didn't have those half moons on his nails. I put him on taurine and he had a complete turnaround in behavior. It's an essential amino acid.

  5. I love Vitacost! I order from them almost all the time – everything.

  8. Use of Taurine combined with Magnesium is one of the most threatening combinations to pharmaceutical drugs designed for anxiety and or a good nights sleep, in energy drinks combined with sugars and a bus load of caffeine Harm is caused by the good action of taurine, I am not one bit surprised to see negative write ups on Taurine or ANY "Safe" nutrient, void of side effects parrallel to todays "drugs" (which cause us to need these types of nutrients badly) i am happy 🙂 to share this link >>> http://www.lifeextension.com/magazine/2013/6/the-forgotten-longevity-benefits-of-taurine/page-01

  9. Morley recommends 509 to 1000 mg per day of Taurine.

  12. I have a supplement (can't remember which one) that says 21 or older. It's something totally benign so I thought that was weird.
